Analysis of Real-Time Operating System Kernels Running on FITkit
Rajnoha, Peter ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The project is dedicated to the identification of the problems found while building RT operating systems for use in embedded devices. The project's main topic is the possibility of using RT system in the FITkit platform and it also discusses individual problems and their possible solutions. One of the problems is the way of acquiring the timing information for tasks to ensure their RT properties. We have extended existing simulator for given microcontroller that is also part of the FITkit. The simulator can be used for detailed monitoring of the execution of individual tasks in the system based on dynamic analysis, collecting timing statistics for given blocks of the program or it can be extended by new modules. The RM scheduling mechanism has been integrated into the FreeRTOS system as an example by considering the knowledge of the concrete operating system and acquired timing information.
Laboratory exercise of attacks on HTTPS protocol
Šindler, Martin ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
This thesis describes principles of specific HTTPS attacks and provides realization of attacks using lab environment based on VMware. Elaboration is divided to specific dedicated attacks, each part evaluates risk of vulnerability and describes the way of realization in guides for students and lector´s manuals.
Graph theory exercises in lower secondary computer science
Kutiš, Martin ; Černochová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Štípek, Jiří (referee)
This master's thesis focuses on the integration of graph theory into computer science education at the lower secondary level. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of graph theory and typical problems that are solved within it. Furthermore, it describes the integration of graph problems in the revised Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and specifies foreign approaches to teaching graph theory in primary and lower secondary schools as described in literature. The current state of implementing graph problems into education is examined through a questionnaire survey among computer science teachers. In the empirical part of the thesis, a methodological procedure for incorporating graph theory into teaching is proposed, consisting of two separate instructional blocks. This procedure is subsequently tested in teaching at three lower secondary schools and two multi-year grammar schools. The evaluation of the testing is based on the analysis of evaluation forms from participating teachers and semi-structured interviews conducted with them. Finally, a set of recommendations is compiled for further utilization of the prepared educational materials. The resulting proposal for integrating graph theory into teaching is ready for application by other practicing teachers and may...
Všechno, co jste kdy chtěli vědět o řasách (ale báli jste se zeptat)
LEJSKOVÁ, Denisa
The bachelor thesis deals with the topics of teaching cyanobacteria and algae at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the comparison of available information in curricular documents and the coverage of teaching the topic at high school. The practical part contains proposals for didactic materials. A study text, presentations for teachers and worksheets for practical teaching with elements of Inquiry-based learning (IBL) with methodical sheets were created.
Badatelsky orientovaná výuka k tématu sinic a řas
BŘEZINA, Petr
The thesis deals with subject of high school inquiry-based learning (IBL) with focus on phycology. A research of schools' lab equipment, feasibility of IBL and attitude of teachers towards this approach was made. Five inquiry-based exercises were assembled, along with methodical notes and suggestions for teachers. The issues with general phycology teaching and implementing IBL in Czech education system were discussed.
Collection of exercises of financial mathematics for lower secondary school
HRUŠKOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on exercises and their solutions from financial mathematics. The collection is for the lower secondary school. The starting points for this thesis are the National Financial Education Strategy, Framework Education Programme for primary schools, School Education Programme of selected schools, Maths textbook for the lower secondary school. The first part contains a definition of the concept of financial literacy, as well as an assessment of the current situation of financial literacy. The second part presents exercises that are divided by curriculum. The exercises are aimed at using mathematical operations to work with finances in everyday life. There is a concisely defined theory on each topic.
Circle inverse and its utilization
Vach, Petr ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
The objective of this paper is to make reader acquainted with the depiction known as ring inversion. A definition of the depiction set forth in the introduction and a subsequent description including proofs of all characteristics of this depiction in two planes, namely a synthetic and an analytic plane with a complex variable, shall enable a reader to solve problems and tasks which are contained in the second part of this paper. The aim of this work is to familiarize a reader with the ring inversion in such a degree so that he will understand all of the characteristics and will be able to make use of this knowledge not only to solve theoretical problems but also in practice.
Application of the Three-Body Problem in the form of exercises
Kolář, Karel ; Šolc, Martin (advisor) ; Franc, Tomáš (referee)
The main topic of this work is the Restricted Three-Body Problem (R3BP) which is illustrated by solving several examples and by simulations in computational system Wolfram Mathematica. The aim is to offer supplemetary material for university students and it can be used also as introduction to this topic for high school students. The first part is dedidated to history of celestial mechanics and to the people who contributed to the development of the R3B Problem. The second chapter consists of simplier tasks with definitions of basic quantities and variables and revision of the undisturbed two-body problem. Subsequent chapters are concentrated to Lagrange points, Jacobi integral, Hill surfaces, tidal force, Tisserand criterion, shape and evolution of close binary stars and other partial tasks.
Utilization of Biology Olympiad in schools and implementation of selected tasks into highschool teaching.
Dvořáková, Darina ; Janštová, Vanda (advisor) ; Drda Morávková, Alena (referee)
This thesis deals with the Biology Olympiad and remaking of selected tasks of region round. The remaked tasks can be used in highschool education. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides general information about the Biology Olympiad (BiO), charts the achievements of Czech students in International Biology Olympiad (IBO), includes literary review of selected topics. The practical part encompass four remaked tasks of different topics: Eucaryotic cell as a mosaic, Water in life of animals, Animals' areas and their distribution, History of the flora in Czech Republic. The tasks are processed in the form of worksheets. The worksheets were tested at schools. Knowledge of students was tested by using of created pretests and posttests. The practical part also presents the result of research based on a questionnaire survey focused on the involvement of school in BiO and teachers' opinions on these topics.
Activities with Probeware for chemistry oriented vocational schools
Jenčuš, Henrich ; Šmejkal, Petr (advisor) ; Stratilová Urválková, Eva (referee)
Many of the experiments available for working with probeware are aimed at the grammar school level. However, with the proliferation of more sophisticated sensors, there is an opportunity to develop experiments for chemistry-oriented vocational schools (specialization Applied Chemistry). These experiments would benefit from the advantages of the vocational school - more time available in the laboratory, better instrumentation, and a wider range of learning topics allowing for more challenging experiments. However, these would also work as advanced experiments for grammar school level chemistry education. The theoretical part discusses probeware, its use for teaching chemistry, the range of different available sensors and their advantages and disadvantages, as well as sources of available experiments, their categorization and comparison with the Framework Education Programme education topics. This thesis introduces a set of 5 different, fully developed and laboratory-validated experiments selected in accordance with the requirements of the Framework Education Programme and School Education Programme for chemistry-oriented vocational schools. In addition to the write-up of the process of their design and validation in this thesis, the annex provides developed materials for direct use in school labs,...
